Chris grew up in Wisconsin and enlisted in the Air Force, where he was stationed in California for four years. During that time, he earned his Airframe Power Plant license. He later moved to Minnesota and worked for Northwest Airlines as a mechanic for seventeen years. With a mother who was a stylist and salon owner, the beauty industry was always part of his story, though he never imagined he would one day follow in her footsteps.

In 2006, Chris became co-owner of Salon Ultimo alongside his wife, Shannon. Today, he serves as CEO, mentor, problem solver, and the go-to handyman for just about everything the salon needs. From supporting the management team with daily operations to helping with the countless behind-the-scenes needs of the salon, Chris plays an essential role in keeping Salon Ultimo running smoothly. He is deeply committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment for both the team and every guest who walks through the door.
